Instead of automatically rejecting any criticism of Trump please actually take the time to read these articles. You guys are good conservatives and I don’t want to see you look back on your support for Trump with regret.

.
Trump is like “climate change;” if you are against him you are a denier, and should be jailed for life.

“You guys are good conservatives”

Actually the holier than thou Cruz cult have made it clear that we are not.

They can all pound sand. They can scrape through church multi-purpose rooms to find enough old ladies to make up the difference.

All they have to do is google his name. All his progressive history will be right in front their faces! Loved Bloomburg, Hillary, oboma, Ried, Weiner...etc. He literally threw his money at the liberal democrats - yet Cruz is somehow not conservative enough for these Trump supporters? What????

Other than being a big celebrity, Trump has nothing to offer the country. He even wants to nationalize health care as well as American banks! That's something Sanders would support!. Why would people here even get close to supporting that? I just don't get it.

I look back on my support of Republicans with regret. I’ve given them my vote, my time and my money. I regret it profoundly.

There have been some good ones, mostly local, but the fact remains that since January 20th, 1989 the national GOP has done very, very little in the way of preserving liberty, respecting the constitution, and representing my interests as an American citizen. The have done much more harm than good, and it’s been snowballing rapidly as time goes on.

The last seven years have been the breaking point for me. Obama hasn’t had to use the veto at all until Trump started gaining steam. McConnell and the GOPe have actively worked against conservative candidates, gone along with this insane continuing resolution way of budgeting that uses Obama’s crazy spending as a baseline for even more spending, allowed illegal immigrants and Muslims to pour in to the country, shrugged their shoulders as the homosexual activists attacked the foundations of our society.

The GOP has so tarnished the word “conservative” that it’s toxic. There is nothing conservative about the way that the GOP has run to the right every election season and acted as enablers or abject surrender monkeys once elected.
I hesitate to call myself conservative because somebody might mistake me for those feckless, backstabbing GOPe cowards who use the label as camouflage for while they go about their dirty work. They use names like Buckley and Breitbart to hide behind, because those dead men can’t defend their once good names.

The energy and determination they show in opposing Trump betrays them, as nothing like it was shown while Obama ran riot. For many of us, when a worm like Medved bleats about Trump not being one of us, it makes us support Trump all the more. Thank God he is not one of them.

Trump could be a complete con man and govern like Obama. So what would it mean to these conservative icons that now denounce Trump? They sat idle and mewed their protest for seven years, they could do it for another four.

What if Trump actually builds the wall, stops the Muslim flood, simplifies the tax system, supports the second amendment, builds up the military and fixes the VA like he promises? That is the true threat to these conservative politicians and pundits, because it exposes them for milking the position of “honorable opposition” while we mere peons have been sold down the river.

I may look back and support my support for Trump, but I know for certain that I’ll regret listening to these clowns as they beg for yet one more chance, honest, just one more to get it right. Screw ‘em.

If I’m fooled by Trump I can say I didn’t know he’d betray me, but if I’m fooled by these conservative scribes and talkers I can only blame myself for believing their tired pablum again, and again, and again.

No more.
