My question - WHO is going to run and win, then? Take Trump out because he brays, get the nicey-nicey guys in there, the purists who have the conservative check list, and then what? They will sweep the nation? The moderates? The undecideds?? Not a chance imho.
Its not obvious to me as it seems to others that Trump will do great against a Dem in a general election, let alone a ‘sweep the nation’.
I don't believe in that type of magic.
Maybe he would do well, maybe not.
He is not Reagan at all. And its not 1984.
But if he wins the nomination and starts contradicting all the things he said to win the primary cited here, to beat the Dem(his trademark), things could get ugly
