Cruz is the only candidate who can even measure up to Trump. It's sad to see them going at each other but there can only be one winner.
I feel that when the dust settles, Cruz will have an important role in a Trump Administration and at age 44, he's still got a long, bright future ahead of him.
Cruz had better hope Trump has something for him.
There will not be much waiting on him back in the Senate.
Maybe AG or stays in the Senate biting McConnell.
He never measured up in my opinion. Btw, Trump never had a co-candidate running with him, like a few seemed to believe or wanted to believe. There is only one winner per side.
I don’t think so. TRUMP gave him the fair shake, didn’t punch his lights out, until Cruz felt the heat and fired a shot.
When TRUMP said Cruz was “nasty”, “nobody likes him”, I think that was mild for what he wanted to say. I think he is madder than hot, and thinks Ted is a slippery cover up artist, that he’s over-using the prayer and priest approach for votes, but won’t say so.
TRUMP can’t say it, but he already has heard about Cruz fairly new zealotry for Christianity, that he’s no great tither, and that it all reportedly played a lot less in his life, in the past, than what appearances today suggest.
TRUMP stays classy but tough.
Trump is a big government progressive with nativist overtones. I have no problem with the nativism part.
Conservatives who support him now will end up hating him if he’s elected.
Mark my words.
I feel that when the dust settles, Cruz will have an important role in a Trump Administration and at age 44, he’s still got a long, bright future ahead of him.
Cruz will not work for a whiny baby bully with zero core principles and zero common decency.
