No, probably because Nugent is also legit in Conservative circles, and it fits the meme to leave him out of it.
And it's a damn shame that an open act of charity can be so blatantly warped to suit a political purpose.
I will be happy if either candidate becomes the nominee. Some of what is being posted on the forums here has been completely inappropriate. I am speaking specifically of the trashing Sarah and Bristol Palin received here yesterday. Cruz himself had a classy response but some of his purported followers here should be ashamed of themselves.
As for Iowa, I hope Cruz does well. Both of our leading candidates need down in the trenches time to hone their skills for the real contest. The sparring between the two helps them both. I was very sad to hear Trump pander to the corn lobby; he didn’t need to do it. It will haunt him for the rest of the campaign and shows that despite his billions he is still vulnerable to influence from special interests.
If Cruz loses in Iowa... I predict that the perception of Trump’s inevitability will become strong enough that the media and the Democrats will freak out and we will see a scorched earth slime campaign that will make anything we have seen thus far pale in comparison. I am not sure how that will work for them, but it will be very ugly.
Ditto
Why? He can’t win the general. A primary vote for Cruz is a vote for Hillary.
Sincerely yours, Tom Selleck
To late for Cruz, he has been Trumped by Trump, both have similar policy solutions, but Trump comes across as a stronger leader, combined with that Reaganesque ability to slap the press silly.
Even if Cruz wins Iowa, and he should because Iowans like a preacher sounding politician, it’ll be his high water mark. Trump will destroy him in NH and SC and the rout will be on. Cruz is not leading in any state other than Iowa and he’s basically tied with Trump there. In NH Trump has a 20 pt lead over second place Kasich, not Cruz. He has a 15 pt lead in SC. A 19 pt lead in GA. Trump has a 19 pt lead in Florida. These are all Jan polls. Just found a poll other than Iowa showing Cruz in the lead. He leads Trump in Utah, 18% to 17%.
The majority of Iowa farmers found out about Palin’s endorsement when they woke up yesterday morning.
Yes, I agree, it is embarassing, and also a waste of time.
I don’t think the bump will be huge, but would have been better had it been this weekend. So much is a about timing. If the polls are this close I would think that Cruz will win the actual caucus by about 10%. His organization on the ground in Iowa is HUGE! And I think all this trash will actually motive a larger turnout by Cruz caucus attenders!
Yeah, well Cruz is a poopypants. What do you have to say to THAT!
PRAISE JESUS, PRAISE JESUS, PRAISE JESUS, GLORY BE TO GOD HALLELUJAH
Glory To God in the Highest, AWESOME NEWS! have been waiting and praying for this
God Bless Ted Cruz, may he win Iowa, in Jesus Mighty Precious Name
Keep movin’ up CRUZ!
Cruz is a poopypants? Maybe fourtish years ago..
Momentum works, and you, nor I have any idea of the future.
It’s all speculation, but right now it looks like Cruz will win Iowa, then who knows.. probably Trump in NH (with Cruz 2nd in some form), then SC is too far away to tell what happens.
The Palin endorsement was on the 19th so it would include one evening post endorsement
Her 2 pregnancies were caused by pdst, and the fact her mom talks about Kicking A$$ and having balls, family drinking and arrests, what happened to the Pentecostal Church...
Now she Sarah has backslid in her Christian life, stabbing Cruz in the back while spitting on Christ...just as I see it and I have never ever spoken a unkind word about Sarah Palin, I defended her through thick and thin, but now I lose all respect for her
Meanwhile Trump offends some at Liberty for saying hell
Need a warning to removed kids from the living room before either of them come on the tv.
Seltzer is sponsored by the DesMoine Register. We can look for that poll and see if we can find it.
DRUDGE SUPER POLL is up now. Let’s go vote.
Thanks, already did...
