It looks wrong in any year. I promise Donald Trump is not wiser than the founders even though he’s really really really smart.
Further, a man who thinks like this will appoint what kind of judges? Maybe Like his liberal baby-killing judge sister. You know, the one he praises.
Objectively speaking, I think an intelligent conservative should have some level of consternation about Trump winning the White House. As you point out, there seems to be some fluidity to his principles and positions. In my opinion, any candidate for POTUS should fall under harsh scrutiny by any intelligent conservative. Trump or Cruz should not be immune. It seems many don’t care how conservative a candidate is or even the candidates track record. I guess we’re in a new era of politics and it doesn’t bode well for our Republic in the long run. Of course, just my opinion.
