Don't have the links, however challenges were floating out there from different news sources. I just assumed at the time that it was just mud being slung about.

As it heated up and then with Mr. Trump requesting the Senator Cruz clear it up, I began looking more closely at it.

It was going to come out anyways and I respect Mr. Trump for raising it. It was very prescient. How Senator Cruz behaved afterwards pretty much precluded him from the VP position. It was not the attacks on Trump that did that, but Cruz's lack of transparency with the issue.

The Dems were locked and loaded on that one and the Uniparty was playing both sides of the fence.
