You are missing the point of what I stated. I do not advocate compromise on morals - and I did not state or imply that anybody should, be they in the field of politics or something else. You seem to believe that compromise on anything means compromise on everything. The more of these post I read, the more I am convinced that more than a few individuals are being purposely disingenuous in their responses.

Insofar as compromise, there is and never has been true compromise with a Marxist democrat. They say bend over an I shall show you a sign of my bi-partisanship.
Republicans today can find fewer and fewer positions they refuse to compromise until they essentially have none now.
If you want compromises, you have it now. If you want deals, you have it now. The opposition will not compromise their positions. So the repubs compromise to Get Things done.
It's the democrats who are unable to compromise and it's the democrats who believe that nothing gets done.
All that is, is a vain attempt to shift blame for all the bad stuff that occurs as a result of failed liberalism. Your man Donald, not only buys into this idea, but he sells it to you and you are buying it.
The difference between us is that I am not, and I know why. You think that is ridiculous and I just hate Trump because I am a idiot.
So there ya go. It's the same thing that democrats hate about me.
It's therefore no surprise that Cruz gets no respect from anyone but conservatives like himself.
I suppose it's pointless to go on. So I will close with a word of advice.
Take a good long and deep look inside yourself. re-assess your political positions and see how they compare to a classic liberal. Then see if you can fit in a conservative mold.
If you still think you are conservative, and that trump is a conservative, you either don't understand conservatism, or you are not one.
Or, your logic has been contaminated by emotion. That too is not conservative.
