I believe I understand your position. But, I think we also have huge assortment of wickedness in our nation that has nothing to do with immigration or even contributes to our immigradion problems at a fundamental level that puts us in peril of God's judgment. Let me state my position this way:
Obedience to God - get it wrong and nothing else matters
What do I mean by "Obedience or disobedience to God"? Examples:
1) Selective Enforcement - We have an excessively large body of laws, so much that it's not feasible to enforce them. So our government usurps power by picking and choosing laws and targets. This is the underlying problem with illegal immigration. Out of deference to commerce (the rich), desire for political base (more poor) and because population growth = economic power (greed), our immigration laws don't get enforced, which is disobedience to God!
Leviticus 19:15
Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
2) Innocent Blood - Our nation daily sheds innocent blood and our government blatantly forces us to pay for it. God has destroyed many civilizations in history for this ultimate wickedness: Deuteronomy 19:10
That innocent blood be not shed in thy land, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and so blood be upon thee.
Psalm 106
37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
40 Therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
41 And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.
3) The Glory of God - Our politicians and people, rulers throughout history, have a long history of amazing, monumental, self-glorifying ambitions that are perpetually celebrated: Saving the Union, Prohibition, Public Education, Welfare State, The Four Freedoms, Pay Any Price - Bear Any Burden, The War On ..., Peace In Our Time, Cure Cancer..., Defeat Communism, Colonize Space, Save the Economy, Nation Building, End Violence, War On Terror, Free Heathcare the list goes on forever. We always seem to forget that the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
The problem I have with "Make America Great Again" is that it is God who raises up and tears down nations not Presidents.
Daniel 2:21

I fear for Trump himself because God tolerates all kinds of evil but he judges the theft of his glory crushing expediency!

Our nation needs repentance and then God may bless us because He is, has always been and will always be great!

Given what you have written, you must also similarly judge the Declaration - which claimed that all men are created equal, when the truth before God is that all men are NOT so created.
Likewise, you must so judge the Constitution, which puts forth the lie that all just government drives its power from the consent of the governed - an utter blasphemous statement contrary to the words of Christ to Pilot:

The state, whether it be governed by a monarch or republican form, is still a creature of God, made by Him so to uphold the moral law, defend the mystical body of Christ, and punish the wicked ... Since God created the state, the state has a duty to obey God’s laws - thus the pretense that demands the separation of church and state is a non-starter.
Likewise the idea of Freedom of Speech and of the Press ... One does not possess an absolute right to say or write whatever they desire.
Similarly, freedom of religion ... Two opposing things cannot both be true, and while one may possess the free will to do wrong or commit himself to take part in false religions or the worship of strange gods, yet one does not possess a right to do so - for one cannot have a right to do what is wrong in the sight of God.
So, if you really want to get down into the weed, we could have quite the discussion on these topics, the protests of others notwithstanding.
