In my workplace there are a couple of Africans and Caribbean blacks, and they have nothing to do with American blacks. They used to clash, the former telling the latter to stop behaving as though they were at home with their language and mannerisms, and then they just gave up when it became too heated. They aren’t conservatives, but they are professional and educated.
I went to a job-site and the guard, who is a Caribbean black, was railing against some American blacks. He used language that made me think it was a “Candid Camera” skit. It certainly would have gotten me fired.
I just sat there and listened. (^;
