Former Senate Majority Leader and 1996 GOP standard bearer Bob Dole appears to have endorsed Donald Trump.
SNIP
Nevertheless, Dole praised Trump stating he could âprobably work with Congress, because heâs, you know, heâs got the right personality and heâs kind of a deal-maker.â

Only Jeb and Mommy and Daddy haven’t figured out that Jeb is toast.
But then, Daddy wanted the United Nations to fulfill the dream of its founders......

Jeb might be back in the race if Trump endorses him when he drops out.

"Bobs right about Donald, he will make deals."
Spot on! Just like Dutch used to make deals with Tip O'Neal, accomplishing all that could be accomplished under the contemporary circumstances.
Hard core Conservative like Ted Cruz don't ever make deals. Consequently Conservatives seldom get elected to anything, and if so, do not accomplish anything more than Goldwater who was best known for his great speeches and no accomplishments.

Nah. He's saying he'll accept it it happens. It's hard to see Bob Dole enthusiastically supporting Trump.
Bob's conflicted. He supported Jeb, but there's always been a rivalry between Bob and the Bushes, so Dole can't help being a little bit happy at Jeb's troubles.

You can’t get more GOPe than Bob Dole. So with Bob Dole and Lindsey Graham on board, we now know who the GOP Establishment supports - Donald Trump.

"Suck" in Dole's mind would be the opposite of compromising with idiotic legislation such as TEFRA, DEFRA,COBRA; led the charge of 1990 Cluster F*/tax increase and just like TEFRA, the spending continued/grew compromise; another two rounds of compromise with tax increases in '91-'92 (This his "leadership" post 1980, before that, lol), yet the spending never stopped/government grew/Admin. Law became a noose around liberty's neck.
Dole seems to admitting that he lacks self-actualization. Dole is the definition of suck and his legislative record/fiscal debt from his "compromises" proves that out.

Those are the last time conservatives got anything from these deals. At this point, it’s like expecting dinosaurs to come by your neighborhood.
To: Jane Long
No, it’s a nightmare. The GOPe found a candidate to fool some conservative voters.
To: Buffalo Head
So you actually want someone who is willing to make deals with Democrats? Then Mitch McConnell is your man.

Doesn’t mean anything.
He’s from the vacuum tube age.
When he’s first turned on random words come out until all the components warm up.

Well in your analogy let’s put it this way: Glenn Beck whacko endorses Cruz - one whacko endorsing another. See how this works? ANyone who endorses Trump gets blasted, but, funny how you Cruzbots neglect the whacko Beck endorsement.

Bob Dole will do anything for ethanol.
And AS will do anything to create discussion and controversy where none really exists.......
I think they're relying on the age old premise that Republicans will ultimately eat their own.........LOL!
