It’ll be a while before we find out what Sarah’s was.

I don't know if it was money or naivete. I would hope it was the latter. Trump represents Tea Party values like Obama represents America's values.

The blinders will be coming off of a lot of Tea Party Trump supporters the longer this campaign goes on. If the promise of a cabinet post is the price she paid, then she got a bad deal. Trump is using her. She should know better.

I think that’s exactly what he’s doing.

He’s over-confident now and is trying to reach moderates and liberals.

Donald’s playing politics and he’s been pretty good at it. But Cruz is a fine American, a one in a generation and it’s not going well for both. Donald was able to blow away all the others, but not so much with Cruz.

These two heavyweights are in the ring pounding on each other. I expect by March 1 Super Tuesday, the slugfest will be over, and the kiss and make-up will be underway.

Donald said two weeks ago that “it looks like he’s (Cruz) is getting it straightened out”, referring to the questions of eligibility. Now he’s back to pounding away.

The key thing is that Donald and Ted have enough support together to foreclose any opportunity of a brokered convention. I think Donald knows he needs Ted and he will follow through in forming a ticket with Ted as VP.

Welcome to sanity. You will have a slight hangover from the KoolAid but you’ll feel better in no time.

Depew on your state. It’s over before it began. I don’t know if the losing campaigns will all spend all the way to the end. Face facts. It’s over.

I even took a cold shower and I still don’t like Trump.

I don’t like cold showers either but I haven’t had a hot one in nine months.

I agree with this statement. However my horse rides with the man who has been a consistent conservative throughout his life. I do get though that people by and large are fed up. Cruz is too intelligent for a generally dumb population. We can thank our education system for that when 46% believe Judge Judy is one of the members of SCOTUS.

Quite sad times we live in. Hell I bet ol Jesse Ventura would garner at least 20% backing. He was a successful wrestler and did make lots of money too.

Yes, Rosie is a fat pig but saying that is in questionable taste if one is running for president.

My vote in the General means nothing. I live in California.

My vote in the Primary is sacred.

I will not vote for a man who gave $250,000 to the Clinton Foundation and has been a life long abortion supporter who has allegedly changed his mind without ever asking God for forgiveness for anything he has ever done.

If it looks like Cruz can’t win, then I will have to put my efforts behind Kasich, or Rubio or Huckabee or.... ABT

Immigration is secondary to me.

I want a man who fears God, not one who thinks he is God.

He is pro-choice and some of his followers here have admitted they are as well.

Most of the posts here are relatively calm and reasoned.

Get a grip.

When Trump went after Rosie O'Donnell, I thought OK, over the top, Donald, but he wasn't really on the radar. Nothing more than an overrated carnival barker on TV. When the clinton donations question came up in the debate, then Megyn Kelly attacked on his treatment of women, I could see his blood was boiling and he was obviously rattled.

The Twitter fit he threw afterwards made me realize that he is a petulant narcissist, just like Obama, only without the self control. He tried to backpeddle the negative flak it caused and I heard one interview he said he really meant her "nose" and another where he claimed he meant "eyes". It was clearly not what he meant.

I think he really was brought into the campaign to finish off the GOP brand once and for all with the intent to paint us as racist, sexist, and unprincipled bullies who cry to their attorney every time anything critical comes out about his past.

Certainly agree with that. I don't want 8 more years of Clinton. Were Trump elected, I would expect to be disappointed but I'm sure Cruz would have to compromise as well to get things done. Reagan did it.

If Cruz didn't come off sounding like a law professor and could communicate a positive vision, he'd probably be better off.

I mean hell, Trump's recycling a simple Reagan slogan and it gets eaten up by the masses.

We're probably moving closer to the Idiocracy movie electorate.

The same could easily be said of Cruz, sadly.

If they are even on the ballot by the time this gets to California. Businesses donate to things for business reasons that politicians would not.
