‘He has zero understanding of economics’

Nick, the man is worth billions of dollars. What makes you say these things?

First of all, being a billionaire doesn’t not mean you know anything about economics. Take Bill Gates for an example. He had good ideas in his field, but I don’t know if he knows anything about economics. Richard Branson. Oh, Dr. Dre: after he sold Beats he is worth over $1 billion. Do you know if e knows anything about economics?

He is not a billionaire. One of the banks he works with estimated his value at $750 million. A book went into more detailed sources of what his worth was and said it was between $250 million and $350 million. Trump sued the people behind that book and LOST in court. During the deposition he admitted he exagerates his wealth and bases it on how he feels that day. He said other things that showed his knowledge of economics is strong. Based on the amount of money his family gave him in the early 70s, he monumentally underperformed since then. Even given the numbers he represents, he way underperformed any billionaire since the 80s.

His main skills are as a mid-tier Manhattan real estate developer and getting attention. Most of his money in real estate in the 200s comes from him getting a share when he lets other builders use his name.

To the point, if he understood conservative economics he would know just building a wall would not solve any problem. As long as the U.S. subsidizes illegal immigration, illegal immigrants will get here.
