Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential nominee who became a Tea Party sensation and a favorite of grass-roots conservatives, will endorse Donald J. Trump in Iowa on Tuesday, officials with his campaign confirmed. The endorsement provides Mr. Trump with a potentially significant boost just 13 days before the state's caucuses.
There seem to be a lot of Freepers who are happy to keep grumbling about how things are not great. That comes to an end if Trump Makes America Great Again.
decided he was the more likely candidate to withstand the ongoing media crucifixtion the (R) nominee will have to endure.
I would think she, above anyone else, would know this....
Who is the right choice?
I am very, very conservative and have been for decades. I support Trump. He is the best man for the job at this time.
Unbunch your knickers, cupcake.
Boo.
I never thought Sarah Palin was another Ronald Reagan (who also had his bad days), but really expected better than this.
Trump has been a lot of fun, but he is no conservative.
Guess it is time to change my five year old login name! Second time in 18 years on Free Republic.
Oh well, times changes as do people.
(admin what is the best way to go about making this change?)
It’s a movement and she wanted to get on board. Ted’s too much a preacher for a large swath of the public. Trump puts the Rust belt and several upper Mid Atlantic states in play
Great sign!
TDS???
Is Glenn Beck on suicide watch?
Nothing wrong with being critical of Palin's decision. That's what people do who don't worship politicians, when a politician does something wrong.
Just a week ago, vile, rabid Cruzbots were on the forum informing me that a “Sarah Palin endorsement of Ted Cruz is coming,” because the entire “conservative” world would come out to support the “true conservative” in the race.
Now these same Cruzbots will be tearing at Sarah Palin with their filthy teeth just to defend their con-man of a candidate, Ted Cruz.
More chortling and derision. That’s all you ever seem to express. And it tells a lot about your candidate and your political priorities: dubious and flawed right down the line.
It's National Crony Capitalism Day!
Yay!! So happy Sarah is voting for The Donald! She’s smart enough to know that this country is in serious trouble and will need someone who is really tough to take on the difficult challenges that face us. Just wish we could vote today. Thank you, Sarah!!
The thread here is high value.
Every FReeper here has a history, lets see that back up.
“Wonder why she snubbed Cruz?”
“Trump can offer her a job when he loses.”
A very astute observation.
So far, 2 Cruz supporters have expressed adult emotions. Good people!
