If they announce as running mates, it would put an end to this race, before a single primary.
I'd be good with Trump/Palin. Would rather Trump/Cruz, but Trump/Palin would work

No, I'm afraid not. Palin is yesterday's news, plus she'll provide the screaming left-loonies with a target they can hit.
Right now Trump is almost untouchable and almost any other running mate else is a much better choice.

She won’t be asked, she wouldn’t accept. But I fully expect her to be a cabinet member overseeing the dealienization of America hopefully.

Same here.
Trump MUST have a solid conservative running mate to keep his conservative supporters. I personally will not vote for him if he moves left in the general, especially by picking a milquetoast moderate as a running mate.
My preferred choices: Cruz, West, Palin.
Unfortunately, the bad blood started over the “natural born citizen” issue may make a Trump-Cruz ticket impossible.
If Trump gets the nod and chooses Palin, Cruz would make an excellent attorney general. And, if he could get confirmed, he would be a stellar Supreme Court Justice.

Would rather Trump/Cruz, but Trump/Palin would work And it would save Cruz for a much-needed constitutionalist Supreme Court appointment.
