FR Thread 91/19/2016] The Tea-Party Warriors Who Are Now 'Establishment Republicans'

"....In May 2010, Sarah Palin endorsed a fledgling South Carolina state representative for governor, Nikki Haley. By backing the "scrappy underdog" in the "competitive primary," Palin put the full weight of her then-significant stature behind Haley in the heady early days of the tea-party revolution.

Palin gave her full-throated support: "I'm very proud to add my voice ... in endorsing Nikki Haley for governor of South Carolina. Nikki is a strong pro-life, pro- Second Amendment fiscal conservative who served with distinction as a state lawmaker, a reformer who fought her own party to protect the interests of the taxpayer."........

Wow, your hated of Trump is so deep and blinding that you are willing to go after/discredit conservatives who may support him. So, using your illogic, Mark Levin endorsed Orin Hatch. Rush Limbaugh supported John McCain. And since they did this, they are irrelevant and we shouldn't care about what they have to say.

It's funny that you use NRO to prove your argument. BTW, I read the article and Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, and to a lesser degree Nikki Haley ARE RINOS. They sold out their base beliefs to "get along". If you listened to Ryan in the early days (5-6 years ago when he was new), you would have heard a passionate fighter who was willing to go to bat for us. Listen to him now, he caves on everything. Marco Rubio, all I can say is Gang of 8. However, the common thread between them all is that they are open border advocates and will never have my support, no matter what propagandist at NRO says to the contrary,

Whose campaign do you work for/support? After reading this article, I find it hard to believe that you could support Cruz either. Here's a suggestion, your frequent anti trump posts are getting tiresome. Why don't you try posting something positive about your candidate instead. If you read my posts, you may notice that I would be willing to support either Trump or Cruz. So, please don't try to label me as a Trump fanatic. I am simply tired of the vitriol as of late.
