Donald Trump has been teasing a "major endorsement" that he is scheduled to release today in Iowa, and the rampant speculation is that it will be Sarah Palin's. I don't really know if this particular speculation is true, but I do know that if Palin doesn't endorse Trump today, she will endorse him eventually. At this point, only a particularly aggressive hair splitter would concede that she has not endorsed Trump already.
The last few months have not been pretty for conservatives who have long denied with angry vehemence the allegation that many of the leading figures in the conservative movement were only in it for the money and/or the attention. Liberals have long claimed that this was true about people like Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and a long list of others, especially including Sarah Palin.
Oh, how we have been deceived by the dulcet tones of arguments that sound internally consistent and which fit with our own preconceived notions of the world. "Nonsense," we loudly declared. "These people believe things, and we can tell you with certainty what they are! See, we have their books that we have purchased where it is all laid out!"
The going narrative in and around DC is that the Trump assault has been an eye-opening phenomenon to the GOP Establishment. Maybe, maybe not. I have my doubts about Mitch McConnell and gang's ability to learn anything, and they are moreover already cozying up to the Trump organization anticipating that he will win the nomination.

I agree.
Cruz for the Supreme Court.
If you can’t see the naked, seething HATRED directed toward Palin (and Trump) by the Media, the Democrats and the Republican establishment then I’m really not concerned about any argument you might have to offer. It’s a real thing whether you believe it or not.
“Iâve been a life long conservative”
who pimps every RINO that throws their hat in the ring. I’m well, chortling. LOL!
?
Lol
You might want to re-read that post.
I am personally sad because Sarah sold out.
There is nothing conservative about DT. I don’t trust him and never will. I prefer Rubio, Jeb, and even the Huckster, all others running to DT.
Indeed on 3/15 here in Florida when I vote if DT is running number one in the polls I will vote for the candidate polling #2 - whether Cruz or Rubio or Jeb or whoever.
Won’t vote DT if he is the nominee.
Don’t bother with the 2 reasons you won’t vote for Rubio or Jeb, I share those also. But they pale with the 100s of reasons not to vote DT.
1001 times now.
Who cares? 3rd time now
It didn’t join until the summer of 2015. It is only doing its assigned job of fracturing the GOP vote.
Several more jumped in from the middle of August through Labor Day. They are characterized by nonsensical handles, anti-Cruz threads, and posting and running, i.e. not hanging around for the discussion.
Those of us who have been around a long time have developed highly tuned troll detectors.
You can depend upon me to cancel your “whomever” vote in Florida’s primary.
Go Cruz!
Go Trump!
Well, you can read it again from me. Same here!
I am a conservative. In Cruz's ideology, I hear Conservatism. When I analyze Trump's words, I conclude he is a pragmatist.
Pragmatism ignores moral absolutes. Moral absolutes are a bedrock of Conservatism, as I hold to it. Ideology or philosophy must be built on that bedrock.
He is simultaneously, and prematurely, gloating in full e-GOP nastiness mode (smooth, silky, and foul) over the conjectured end, death, demise of Tea Party Republicanism and the conservative movement generally. He even tosses in the death of talk radio's credibility generally, and mentions Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin a lot. That's pretty broad malevolence.
The tenor of this article is that of Dr. Faustus calling forth Mephistophilis: gleeful anticipation of a harm to others.
It's getting plumb rough out there in RiNO-land.
Well, the original article from Redstate assumes that "everybody" is right, Trump's big-name endorser today or tomorrow will be Sarah Palin. Problem is, we didn't hear that from Sarah Palin.
But you're right about the PDS, and the Redstate author (and his boyfriend over there cited and quoted by CW above) is showing his. Some FReepers may be calling for a ham sandwich soon, but only if the Redstate article is right.
GMTA...lol, you probably thought of it before I did.
The goal is to destroy the Washington Cartel. Until and unless we get that done we are spinning our wheels. These traitors must be neutered!
"TRAITORS! THAT'S RIGHT, I SAID IT!! TRAITORS!!!
Huh?
