Settled. Nonissue.
So why did the Founders even bother creating a judicial branch then, if everything was “settled”. The only person who says this is settled is Ted Cruz and those who support him.
Come back in a week and see if we’re still talking about this. Or a month.
My son was born overseas in 1972, to two American citizens. His birth had to be registered CRBA to be recognized as a citizen.
I could not just waltz back into the US and my son declare himself a citizen because he felt like it.
He was made a citizen by virtue of paperwork, ie not natural born as I was or as my husband was.
It is not settled, it is not nonsense.
exactly- it’s settled- a child born to a sovereign parent (A citizen of the US is considered sovereign,) is every bit as much the same nationality as the mother or father as a child born to a woman who is a subject of the king or queen regardless of where the child is born- The child of the parent who is subject to king or queen is a ‘natural born subject’ while the child of a sovereign parent of the US is a ‘natural born citizen’- there is no law needed to uphold this- by natural law they are granted the nationality of their sovereign parent- this should be the end of the discussion but of course the left and Cruz haters will never cede this fact
“Settled. Nonissue.”
Un, settled and nonissue for everyone except for half of Republican voters:
Agreed. Obama wasn’t even born on this planet and he’s a natural born citizen. Just as Congress.
“Settled. Nonissue.”
Settled, Ted Cruz is a naturalized U.S. citizen by authority of the U.S. Naturalization Act of 1952.
Ted Cruz was born on December 22nd. 1970. At this time, his citizenship was defined by the Canadian Citizenship Act of 1947. This document clearly states that: A person born after the commencement of this act is a Natural Born Citizen: (a)if he is born in Canada or on a Canadian ship.
You can find the information regarding Natural Born Canadian Citizenship on the second and third pages at the link I provided.
