Please show me the law (link it) that says his mom was NOT a U.S. Citizen even though she was born in Kansas.

Of course she was a citizen. That has never been in question.

The issue is that, according to naturalization law in effect in 1961, she was not old enough at the time to confer citizenship IF the baby was born on foreign soil.

There has never been official and provable documentation produced that Stanley Ann Dunham gave birth to a son in Hawaii (or anywhere else for that matter) in 1961. The man in the White House may or may not be a citizen, natural born or otherwise.

It would be high drama should this issue go to court and somehow 0 be required to offer admissible proof of citizenship.

The issue was not whether or not she was a U.S. citizen. Try reading 2ndDivisionVet's post #3 again. It contains these words:

Obama's mother wasn't old enough at the time of his birth to confer citizenship.

2ndDivisionVet did not say, "Obama's mother wasn't a U.S. citizen." OK?

I'll copy one of my old posts below:

Read section "7 FAM 1133.2-2 Original Provisions and Amendments to Section 301" in this State Department document:

http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/86757.pdf

...(a) The following shall be nationals and citizens of the United States at birth: (7) a person born outside the geographical limits of the United States and its outlying possessions of parents one of whom is an alien, and the other a citizen of the United States who, prior to the birth of such person, was physically present in the United States or its outlying possessions for a period or periods totaling not less than ten years, at least five of which were after attaining the age of fourteen years...

Obama's mother was eighteen when he was born. The requirement was for at least five years after age 14. She was one year too young to have conveyed her citizenship to her son if he had been born outside the United States.

If you want more information, read this thread, that contains some of my posts:
