One of the United States' most influential evangelical leaders blasted Liberty University President Jerry Falwell, Jr. on Monday for hosting Donald Trump to give a campaign speech.
Russell Moore, who heads the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, the public policy arm of the Southern Baptist Convention, let fly a series of tweets after Falwell gave a glowing introduction to Trump, calling him "one of the greatest visionaries of our time" and saying Trump "lives a life of helping others ... as Jesus taught in the New Testament."
Moore appeared incredulous at Falwell's language, which was more effusive than he had been with any other candidate, including Texas Sen. Ted Cruz:
Sounds like works/righteousness religion to me, very foreign to Christianity (by grace alone through faith alone on account of Christ alone).

I have NO objection to having all political candidate free to express themselves but it is Jerry Falwell Jr’s comments that upset a lot of us.
Now that’s funny. I just saw CNN talking about Trump’s “gaffe” of saying “Two Corinthians” instead of “Second Corinthians”. Really? That’s important?

Him saying “ TWO Corinthians” told a LOT of Christians how much he has been exposed to his “ church roots” growing up.

Trump was reading notes without his glasses, so what, he read the Bible something that pertained to the reason the School is named Liberty.

The real news of the day was Trump’s call for 70% of the American’s who are Christians to push back against the Obama admin., Hollywierd, and the MSM bigotry against Christians, and reminding people nobody has a right to tell them not to greet with Merry Christmas.
This to me means Trump is will to take on the PC bigots, fight against Obama pushing against the Catholic Hospitals who won’t pay for abortion services. This is also Trump saying the Little Sisters of the Poor need people to rally to their side.
Make the people know they cannot get away with this crap.

My resolution today is to be nice or not say anything critical to the rabid Cruz supporters or about the Trump hate pieces but I couldn’t resist responding to the idiot who penned this piece that I think Mr. Farwell really likes Trump, just to rub it in.

He won't be going back to Texas. If he fails to win re-election to the Senate he'll be a Washington lobbyist. He's Washington DC all the way from here on out.
I believe Liberty University has invited all presidential candidates, both parties to speak on their campus. It is a solid school and has always felt comfortable in their own skin to listen to anyone, even atheists.
Keep posting more articles like this and driving people away from your candidate to other candidates, good thing to do, whether your candidate will be in Texas or where ever, he will not be POTUS at this time...
But keep it up, its helping drive up the poll numbers, we like that!!!
