The original meaning, born here of citizen parents, has been morphed to “born a citizen”.
The change does make anchor babies eligible, along with Winston Churchill and Ted Cruz and Obama.
The original definition was intended to protect us from foreign influence. If one could be considered anything other than an American at birth, one cannot be a natural born citizen.

Trump has spent less than 10% of what Ted has.

That is because he is frugal spending his own money.

I am starting to guess that Trump is going to have the IOWA Gov. Terry Branstad as his special guest at the rally tomorrow in Iowa.

That would certainly help as much as endorsements could. Most times even someone as popular as Branstad’s endorsement wouldn’t change to polls much. But, Branstads state organization could help Trump who isn’t anywhere near as well organized as Cruz is for the Caucus.

I can’t wait to see if I am reading the Tea Leaves right.

The term “Natural Born,” used in the Constitution, HAS NO MEANING. It is not defined IN the Constitution, and it has never been defined subsequently by a finding of Congress.

For the internal consistency of the the Constitution, it is only necessary that the term be more restrictive than “citizen,” because members of Congress must be “citizens,” but are not required to be “natural born.”
