The only way to end abortion is to appoint a genuinely PRO-LIFE majority to SCOTUS,

I understand what your argument is and I agree completely. Unfortunately the Supreme Court does not work that way. Their function is not to re-write law but to rule on the constitutionality of cases that ultimately make it to their court.

When a candidate is nominated for the court, nobody knows whether they are pro life or pro choice and no candidate will ever reveal their personal biases. That's not the intent of the confirmation process and rightfully so.

One only has to look at the confirmation of Justice John Roberts, who everyone thought was a "conservative". When it came to Obamacare, it turns out he wasn't.

Was that the fault of Bush or the US Senate who confirmed him?

And if I recall correctly, everyone here applauded his confirmation..........turns out we were wrong. That's just the way it is.

As I stated previously, R v W will forever be the law of the land and there is nothing any president can do about it.

So to allow the MSM to constantly bring up the issue of pro life vs. pro choice as they've been doing for the past 30 years in order to cause dissension within the party is something that should be ignored and rejected.

To reinforce my argument, let's change the title of the article to this:

Would Donald Trump Ted Cruz Be a Pro-Abortion President?

Or

Would Donald Trump Marco Rubio Be a Pro-Abortion President?

And as I mentioned before, why has the MSM never addressed the concerns of liberals who just might be pro-lifers? For the record, I know many.............

1. You misunderstand the modern SCOTUS which views itself as an ongoing Constitutional Convention without need of state ratifications of SCOTUS's insanity posing as "constitutional law." See Roe vs. Wade in particular which is based, according to its author Herod Blackmun, on the ancient Roman law of Paterfamilia. That made old Herod an historical illiterate as well as a constitutional illiterate since PF gave to the FATHER and not the mother the untrammeled right to order the killing of any of his children until the age of 21. In any event, the Roman Empire is long gone and has absolutely NO AUTHORITY to counter Amendment XIV.

2. SCOTUS nominations are heavily vetted at the White House stage. Several Yale alumni friends vetted Bork, Kennedy, Thomas, Scalia and others. One who vetted Thomas did overnight research that punched Anita Hill's ticket and put Thomas on the SCOTUS despite heavy opposition from Demonrats. Kennedy's behavior on SCOTUS has confirmed him as the liar he turned out to be. While I have no specific knowledge of the vetting of Roberts and Alito, I cannot imagine that W just abandoned the private questioning of nominees.

3. Pro-aborts and other enemies of Western Civilization and Judaeo-Christian morality may feel free to leave the GOP altogether, the sooner the better. Presto, no dissension in the GOP on the issue and rafts of Reagan Democrats turn to the GOP. Win-Win!

4. MSM live in fantasyland and assume that every Democrat is an Obozo demon on all issues. They are wrong.

5. As to Cruz and Rubio, the record suggests that either would be a pro-life POTUS, Cruz more knowledgeable on matters judicial than Rubio. Trump, no one really knows not even Trump for whom the issue is a distraction from his obsession with the Wall.

6. Roe vs. Wade is no more permanent than Plessy vs. Ferguson and nearly as old. In a sane world, each and every judge ruling in accordance with Roe vs. Wade would be arrested, charged with crimes against humanity, convicted and executed along with each and every abortionist. Did you now that the Nuremberg trials deemed abortion to be a crime against humanity and convicted two Nazi abortionists? See the research of History Professor John Hunt of St. Joseph's College, West Hartford, CT.
