I’ve been listening for a while now to the sermon, and don’t hear anything “creepy” yet. Where, specifically, does the “creepy” stuff start?

I was referring to basic Christian doctrine which includes the forgiveness of sins. If you want something from THE WESTMINSTER CONFESSION OF FAITH:
CHAPTER XI.V. God doth continue to forgive the sins of those that are justified; and although they can never fall from the state of justification, yet they may by their sins fall under God's Fatherly displeasure, and not have the light of his countenance restored unto them, until they humble themselves, confess their sins, beg pardon, and renew their faith and repentance.

“His Father is a raving, lunatic fringe, religious nut case.”

I spent far too long listening to the sermon. Lots of Scripture, lots of biblical exposition. Where, specifically, does Rafael come across as a “religious nut case”? Is it because he quotes from the Old Testament, and uses that OT language (”kings and priests”) in his exposition? Is it because Ted Cruz allows people to pray for him? Is it because there’s discussion about money and “dominion” (a biblical term)?

Where, specifically? Can you give a full sentence, in context, that comes across as cultish?

Jim Jones was an avowed demonic Communist in charismatic religious drag.

By the early 1970s, Jones began deriding traditional Christianity as "fly away religion", rejecting the Bible as being a tool to oppress women and non-whites, and denouncing a "Sky God" who was no God at all.[15] Jones wrote a booklet titled "The Letter Killeth", criticizing the King James Bible.

I am listening to Pastor Rafael Cruz’s sermon and got to maybe the third sentence after the finished prayer when he said that the lessons heard were based on Jeremiah 29:11. [my notes]:

“Jeremiah 29:11 God has plans for you …to give you a future and a hope.
Hope is not a wish, hope in the Bible means “a total assurance that what God says, it is so. A total assurance that when God says He is going to do something that He is going to do it.”

So, because I always read the chapter of the verse being used [like any good Constitutional lawyer I use historical-in-context study methods] I read from the beginning of Jeremiah 29 and my heart sank but is now rejoicing.

The promise of a future and a hope was directed to those Israelites taken prisoner to Babylon. Why were they in Babylon?

“However, the LORD did not turn from the fierceness of His great wrath with which His anger burned against Judah, because of all the provocations with which Manasseh had provoked Him. And the LORD said, “I will remove Judah also from My sight, as I have removed Israel. And I will cast off Jerusalem, this city which I have chosen, and the temple (house) of which I said, ‘My name shall be there.’”

“Surely at the command (mouth) of the LORD it came upon Judah, to remove them from His sight because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done, and also for the innocent blood which he shed, for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; AND THE LORD WOULD NOT FORGIVE.” [All caps mine] 2 Kings 23: 26 & 27 and 24: 3 & 4

What did Manasseh lead Judah to do? Practice child sacrifice. So while many can say they will make America Great Again, it ain’t hap’nin’ while our courts uphold unconstitutional child sacrifice laws and our streets and gutters flow with the blood of the innocent and those innocents whose hearts and minds are sold to the highest bidder.

Like ALL OTHER PROMISES from God, there are conditions that have to be met. In Jeremiah 29 the conditions of 70 years of slavery had been met and the Israelites were going home.

God cannot make America Great Again while doing all the things He hates. Sorry, He cannot because it is who He is. He is the avenger of the innocent.

These standards are not just for Israel and America. God still rules the nations. Only 6 nations outlaw abortion. The world, the world, will be judged.

"So what say you Ted Cruz supporters about this? Ted’s dad apparently thinks that Ted is the Lord’s anointed destined to take control of society."

I'm not voting for his father so I couldn't care less what he says.

For the record, if you're going to use this as a reason to try and disqualify Cruz, you're going to have to use Trump's sister---who supports partial-birth abortion---against him, and also his daughter, the feminist who quotes Lena Dunham on her website.

Either Ted Cruz is a original-intent Constitutionalist and therefore ineligible to be President or he is a living-document Constitutionalist and eligible to be President. It is one or the other, but it can’t be both.

LOL

BTW, let’s get back to my question. When are you going to disown Trump on the basis of his pro-partial birth abortion supporting sister, or his feminist Lena Dunham-loving daughter?

Trump even stated that the sister would make a fine Supreme Court justice.

So are you going to be consistent?

No illegality at all.

You apparently don’t have the “Free exercise” clause in your copy of the constitution.

So, the false witness is all your own.

When did Ted Cruz become a naturalized citizen? When did he participate in a naturalization ceremony?

If never, then he has been a naturalized citizen since birth, or he is an illegal alien.

If he has been a naturalized citizen since birth, then he is a natural born citizen.
