Bigger point - why back Cruz? There is no way he can win. Only Trump can put together the coalition necessary to win.
I did read your entire post. I responded the way I did because Trump is willing to use RAT tactics to win. I expect that from the RATS, I don’t expect it from a man who complained about being treated fairly. The Donald even said himself that he was only attacking Cruz on the birther issue because Ted is a threat to him. As for the reason why I back Cruz, and Trump was my second choice, Ted is a Conservative, Trump is not. And if he goes through with this, I will NEVER vote for Trump.
