Wow. Very disappointing that everyone is throwing Cruz under the bus. I guess ‘we need to get along’ and NEVER shut down government and spend what ever the Dems and Nancy Pelosi wants to infinity.
Many Freepers are destroying Cruz. And after being here for ~20 years, these same Freepers will be the ones to grouse that Ryan/Trump/Pelosi/McConnell are ‘spending too much money’.
Sure I will vote Trump over Hillary or Sanders. But he is already talking about a ‘program’ for ‘student loans’ and we need to ‘trust him’.
Very demoralized we are fighting over how fast to destroy Cruz.
Once Trump has his primary opponents destroyed, I expect him tack HARD left on Kelo, Affirmative Action, Taxes and even some social issues.
Unpopular with the Good-old-boys Club of the Senate? That’s a huge plus in my book. I can’t even come up with five Senators that I like. The vast majority of GOP Senators have sold us out for the last five years. Ted Cruz stood against them.

Like who? McConnell?, Ryan? McCain? Come on man, that is a badge of honor in this day and age. He has the right friends though!
