You seem to think there was a way for Cruz to get the court to rule before he began his campaign. It doesn't work that way - sorry to rain on your Trumgasam.
Trump did say at the last debate he was not going to sue Cruz over the NBC, so yes this the flipper flopping yet again.
Again, Ted Cruz has created this situation for himself and for us by running for POTUS as a non-NBC. He’s smart guy. There can be no doubt that he had to have known that this was going to happen.
It was no secret in 2012 when he was elected to the Senate that Cruz had this to deal with. If he had aspirations for the presidecy, he had 4 years to address it. Otherwise, he needs to drop out, get it resolved, and run again in 4-8 years.
