Try not to be disheartened by the game of checkers in front of your eyes; there’s a game of chess being played underneath it all, and Cruz and Trump may both be smart and patriotic enough to work together behind the scenes to protect this nation. They’re both good guys and I think they both know it, in spite of the public show they have to put on.

I see it quite differently, I seriously distrust Cruz for a number of reasons. Of course I could be wrong.
