HOWEVER, I viewed that interview and you must have been smoking some holy hashish or something because what Trump said was that ILLEGALS have got to LEAVE and that ANY that are allowed back in must be LEGAL, and that means proper screening, vetting, background checks based on their prior history and behavior. As for the so-called ‘Dreamers’, Trump did not at all just write a blank check about them, he emphasized that it was a ‘tough’ situation, but he emphasized that we need our laws enforced and that we need a system that WORKS to keep out illegals.
He also strongly stated that he wanted ALL illegals who had committed criminal acts DEPORTED and never allowed to return, EVER.
Now read this really careful, what Trump described in that interview is NOT AMNESTY. An amnesty would overlook and ignore any and all criminal acts, it would not force deportation or screening and criminal background checks, it would be nothing more than saying “ok, you’re legal” and ANYONE who watches that interview who a.) has a room temperature IQ and b.) doesn’t hate Trump, should be able to comprehend that.

You are correct criminals would not be let back in, everyone else ( over 10m or so ) it’s come on in and drive down wages for Americans.
