Yes, the flowers are wondrous. We had company right after Christmas and did the things you do when you have company.

We drove the road to Hana and we went to the Botanical gardens up in Kula (higher elevation). I should have written down the names of the flowers but, of course, I didn’t.

African Tulip is the only one I remember and African Tulip trees abound on Maui.

Kihei is my favorite. We’ve made an offer on a house there. It’s not on the beach but you can walk to the beach. And there’s a good whale watching platform there.

You need to come over.

I remember driving the road to Hana. One time when we were there, my sister took a helicopter ride around the island and loved it!

Wishing you best of luck on obtaining your new home and selling your current one!

It would be super to be so close to whale watching! IIRC there are Humpbacks around Maui. We’ve been on a few whale watching trips here and the Orcas are awesome and the babies so cute!!
