As far as what I said about Huckabee, I said we were voting for president not pope. IF the election was about who was the most Christian, then yes, I would say that would be Huckabee.
However, Chauncey Uppercrust, that is not who we are voting for. We are voting for the president of the United States of America.
If the best candidate was atheist, or Jewish, or Buddhist then I would vote for them. I would never vote for a Muslim because I think Islam is a political philosophy as much as a religion and I reject its politics.
Look, Jimmy Carter was/is a devote Baptist, but I’d never vote for him, because he is wrong on almost every political issue.
