That’s a lie. He once said he was for abortion, without qualifications. You could then say that partial birth abortion is “delivering a fully developed baby feet first until only her head is still in her motherâ€™s body and then STABBING HER TO DEATH.” and it IS!

But Trump didn’t say that. He now says he is against abortion, so I could write that as “Trump now says he is AGAINST delivering a fully developed baby feet first until only her head is still in her motherâ€™s body and then STABBING HER TO DEATH”

So, are you saying he is a liar, or you do not trust his assertion that he is against abortion?

Seriously, this country is full of people who have changed their minds on abortion. Why can’t Trump?

I heard Trump say in the Russert interview (1999) they put out today that he was personally against abortion but was for giving people a choice. He allowed that his support was probably due to being raised in NYC.

I am staunchly against abortion, which I deem to be murder. What can a President really do about ending abortion in the US? Trump has said he will defund PP. But Congress, the states, and the courts have a much bigger influence and control over abortion. The Roe vs Wade decision would have to be overturned for starters.

The GOPe likes to get Reps stirred up over gun control, abortion, gay marriage, and other social issues. It is a cynical attempt to get out the voters and then ignore them once they get in office. The recent Omnibus bill pushed by Ryan continued to fund PP, Obamacare, refugees from Syria, etc.

I want a President focused on national security, the economy, immigration, and trade, areas where he/she can have a major impact. My only litmus test this time around is immigration, legal and illegal. Unless we get immigration under control, everything else is just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
