A friend of mine asked me to make all of her Christmas presents this year .... she wanted to give hand made gifts. One of the gifts was a hat/sweater set in Seattle Seahawk colors for her 10 year old grandson. I figured a crocheted hat/scarf would go over with a 10 year old like a lead balloon. Long story shorter, he opened the package, put the hat on, and I’m not sure he’s taken it off yet. He wears it all day AND he has slept in it every single night since he got it, too! My family tends to be Seahawks fans .... Russell Wilson grew up in our area so he’s a ‘home town boy’. :-)
That sounds like great gifts and you’re obviously very talented that you can make them (I had to buy my knit cap and ball cap).
You wouldn’t believe all the Seahawks’ gear people wear around here all of the time, but especially on Fridays before a weekend game - go into any grocery or drug store and you’ll see it. I used to send a Schedule + out to my team prior to a Seahawk game: Seahawks or blue/green shirt Friday. Most had T-shirts or jerseys, but a few were from CA so did wear blue or green garb, except for one, who was an avid 49 fan.
We LOVE #3 Russell!!! Hope he does well today.
