Nobody, well unless they are a complete idiot, thinks Cruz was attacking the brave firefighters or anyone else. He was attacking the values.. If trump didn’t have them, he shouldn’t get his feelings so hurt.

Cruz, being the Jedi debate master that he is, should have known that and qualified it as such. That was either intentional or a forced error....I think the latter as Cruz would have nothing to gain by that.
Most people knew what Cruz meant. But the NY media hate Cruz even more than Trump. The problem was that Cruz let Trump get away with it during the debate. Cruz’s response the next day was too late.
