I think a lot of the youth would if given the chance.
The Mullahs have done a lot to discredit Islam to the public. If the demographics were like they are now in 1979, the Revolution wouldn’t have happened, or would be radically different in outcome.
My understanding of Iran is that the Mullahs are not Persian, but of some interloper type.
