I predicted here that the prisoners would be released when it was of maximum advantage to Obama. Obama had the sailors kidnapped just before the SOTU speech to draw attention to the Iran/U.S. issue, and then had the original prisoners released a few days later.
This is all part of his 2016 victory lap, to help him pose as the best president ever.
Good for the former prisoners. The package deal is still bad for the U.S.

I guess it instills some optimism in me that Soetoro feels he has to release someone he had imprisoned. Instead of sacrificing Abedini to his moon god like he normally would, he feels he needs to try to convince brainless Leftists that conservatives hate Christians (never mind that these Leftists aren’t really Christians, anyways).
