Yeah...but...Cruz has some very bad advisors who told him to pick on New Yorkers. You do not alienate a whole state because of a few whackos in Albany and Manhattan.
That was a bad move. Not to mention the millions of NY natives who now live in Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, Florida etc.
Cruz ticked off a lot of these folks.
You do NOT insult people whose vote you are asking for.

That was a big mistake, but ... I think most of us agree that Manhattan is very liberal. Otherwise why do they keep electing liberal politician.
