He voted for a procedural rule that 98 other Senators voted for. I think he was wrong and should have stood up to it.
The vote is meaningless anyway because Obama is putting the treaty into effect not only without Congressional Approval but without even getting a signature on the agreement from Iran.
So the Corker Amendment means nothing anyway. Obama didn't need no stinking Corker Amendment. He has a pen and a phone.
Now tell me why Trump is going to be the best President ever. Where is his track record on Conservative issues?
Has any other candidate in this race contributed to Hillary Clinton's presidential or senate campaigns?
How can you trust Trump?
If you were sitting on the other side of the table in a billion dollar real estate transaction, would you take him at his word on anything?
“He voted for a procedural rule that 98 other Senators voted for.”
Cruz voted for the bill to become law. Cruz voted for the bill in the same fashion any bill is voted on to become law.
“So the Corker Amendment means nothing anyway.”
That is nonsense, of course, but for the sake of argument, if that is true, then why is Cruz going about the country condemning the bill and why does he say that the first thing he will do if he becomes president is to get rid of it if it is not law?
