“only true conservative”
One of my very favorite expressions here at FR; it means something different for each person who uses it.
Ain't that the truth. And it reminds me of the old No True Scotsman fallacy.
Person A: No Scotsman puts sugar on his porridge.
Person B: But my Scottish uncle puts sugar on his porridge.
Person A: Then your uncle is not a true Scotsman.
