Cruz is toast. There is a critical mass of informed and determined opposition on the issue of qualification. That's not a policy question, that cuts to the bedrock. it also risks reputation, because some people will conclude that he knew or should have know his qualifications were dicey, and he was not forthcoming - on a bedrock issue. That is no "clerical error in the filing" stuff.
