Ted is the ultimate hypocrite. Says one thing for money, does another for votes.

Senator Ted Cruz has positioned himself as a strong opponent of same-sex marriage, urging pastors nationwide to preach in support of marriage as an institution between a man and a woman, which he said was âordained by God."
But on Monday night, at a reception for him at the Manhattan apartment of two prominent gay hoteliers, the Texas senator and Republican presidential hopeful struck quite a different tone.
During the gathering, according to two people present, Mr. Cruz said he would not love his daughters any differently if one of them was gay. He did not mention his opposition to same-sex marriage, saying only that marriage is an issue that should be left to the states.
The dinner and âfireside chatâ for about a dozen people with Mr. Cruz and his wife, Heidi, was at the Central Park South penthouse of Mati Weiderpass and Ian Reisner, longtime business partners who were once a couple and who have been pioneers in the gay hospitality industry.

This is now WAR. Cruz wants to bring up Trump's NY values and positions from 17 years ago. Trump is bringing up Cruz's sucking up to gay businessmen in Manhattan for MONEY.
“Cruz’s sucking up to gay businessmen in Manhattan for MONEY.”
Sounds like a male prostitute?
Wow!
Sounds like NY values to me.
Actually, I am sick of this subject and wish they would both agree to drop it.
That was 17 years ago. Why is Cruz begging gay republicans in Manhattan for money?
Why is he pandering to Iowa voters about gay marriage and telling his gay masters in Manhattan that gay marriage is not a high priority for him?
Why?
Because Teddy has politician values.
He’s a LIAR AND HYPOCRITE.
...says the man who admittedly bribed public officials for pure greed. He could have been an honest businessman.
...says the man who defended his pro-abortion and pro-partial
birth abortion positions by saying it’s because “I’m from New York”.
...says the man who donated to the most Liberal of politicians.
...says the man who after the Baby Parts Scandal touted Planned Parenthood and then changed that rhetoric when he found it wasn’t the right position.
Incredible.
Iowa just isn’t that important.
This will hurt almost as much as Cruz.
trump is right again. Goldman Sachs are fraudsters who do anything for money. his wife works for them.He failed to disclose
Goldmans Sachs based in New York . New York Values financed his campaign!
Don’t Freep while drunk.
Cruz is not so much a hypocrite as a fraud. He’s got everyone believing his this Tea Party Texas crusader for the people, but it’s all an act. He’s Princeton, Harvard, Goldman Sachs, Manhattan elite to the bone. Get over it.
The ‘Trump walked into a trap’ people are about to get a lesson in the real use of force.
Has senility and dementia set in on Trump? He can’t remember that he SPECIFICALLY SAID HE HAD NEW YORK VALUES (AFTER DEFINING THEM BY EXAMPLES) and HE ALSO SAID HE WOULD HAVE SPECIFICALLY HAD DIFFERENT (IOWA) VALUES IF HE WAS RAISED IN IOWA. Trump actually used Iowa as a place with values different than New York values.

Cruz is married to a Goldman-Sachs executive. Guess where the headquarters of Goldman-Sachs is located? Cruz got a loan from Goldman-Sachs and it is one of his biggest contributors.
I don’t get it. Is he supposed to boycott gay people because he is anti-gay marriage?
Cruz as a Constitutionalist understands that Homosexual marriage should be an issue for States not something decided by the Feds. He has had this position prior to the USSC ruling.
Because you don’t support homosexual weddings doesn’t mean you shouldn’t make a case as a supporter of the Constitution to ANYONE who will listen.
It is comparable to saying that if you oppose racial quotas, affirmative action you shouldn’t engage with black people, whether or not they support action? Of corse not.
What the tweet demonstrates is Trump’s lack of understanding of the role of the Federal government and what the role of State government is.
Pathetic on Trump’s part.
Just gotta laugh at Phineas T Trump...8 negative, insulting, and misleading tweets about Ted Cruz in the past 5 hours! I think the Donald has a dangerously pathologic level of OCD...not a good thing for someone who might have access to ‘nucular’ codes!
The PT Trump clown show will wear thin with the masses at some point...one more debate before Iowa!
There is no hypocracy in Cruz raising money from anyone who will support him. Cruz has never changed or hidden his social conservatism.
What is hypocritical is Trump (whose whole campaign to this point has been about attacking the establishment and breaking the rules of political correctness) now appointing himself as the enforcer of political correctness and attacking Cruz for daring to criticize the epicenter of social liberalism in the United States - New York City.
This is especially hypocritical given that Trump gave a long interview to Tim Russert in 1999 where he repeatedly referred to growing up and living in New York City as the reason that he (Trump) was pro choice and pro gay rights. Trump even admitted that his New York values were different than they might have been if he had grown up in Iowa. Sorry, but this interview changes everything - Trump might as well pack up and leave Iowa it is game, set and match for Cruz.

From the article about the 2 hosts...
Draw your own conclusion...
‘Mr. Reisner and Mr. Weiderpass have been generous donors to gay political causes and charities, including the Empire State Pride Agenda and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center.’
