Ted hates them New York values but he loves that New York money.

Ted walked into this one when he insulted an entire state.

Hypocrisy is denying you called for a 45% tariff on China when you have done so repeatedly for years. Hypocrisy is claiming to be an outsider and taking on the media when they are the ones who created you. Hypocrisy is talking about how Ted Cruz is so qualified and then criticizing his citizenship. Hypocrisy is criticizing Obama and then promising to govern by executive order. Hypocrisy is Trump.

It really is just pathetic.

Whenever he gets scared, or challenged, he just lashes out with streams of insults and mostly incoherent, almost unhinged ramblings.

I go back even to when he got into it with Michelle Malkin on Twitter over Kelo and the like and he fired back at one point,

“You were born stupid.”

Riveting- Right up there with “You’re an ugly poopy head”.

I can appreciate a person who wants to win and will basically do everything possible to do so.

But it’s hard to appreciate someone, who, when he can’t gain traction on substance, just lets loose with a stream of insults and throws public tantrums for all to see.

But, those supporting him eat it all up.

I think I have to agree with Eric Metaxas from last summer. The fact that we have so many people, so many would be conservatives even, willingly cheering on ALL of Donald’s tactics and behavior, doesn’t give a good indicator for where our collective morality, values, and spiritual standing is at.

I understand being angry and frustrated with where the country is at. I also though understand and appreciate wisdom, maturity, intelligence, class, and humility all while STILL putting the enemy in their place.

I was young, but I know Reagan had that. Cruz has a lot of that. Trump? Sorry, but no.

.”says the man who after the Baby Parts Scandal touted Planned Parenthood and then changed that rhetoric when he found it wasn’t the right position.”

You are bound to know that that is an absolute lie.

Actually these two need to team up. The establishment hates both of them.

You are 100% correct. While one could make the case that it was a no-win situation for him, by waiting until now to have the battle, Cruz made a major tactical mistake. Now, his poll numbers are going backwards right when he needs them to be surging.

I’m glad these things are coming out though. Many of Ted’s actions have puzzled me and I was close to coming to the conclusion that he was a fraud. Now, I’m certain of it.

Ted actually had the AUDACITY to socialize with gay people and treat them kindly.

Ted is a-ok with New York values, despite his cynical desperate political posturing.

“I’m liking Donald a lot less because of these ultra nasty attacks on Cruz”

Then ask Cruz to make some himself?

What do you think the general will look like? You think Hillary is going to care if your feelings are hurt when she launches into Cruz?

Either he survives, or it is good that he wasn’t the nominee, because the Dems aren’t going to be kind.

Let me add that this is the same Trump who in an interview with Tim Russert said that he was 100% pro choice under all circumstances and supported gay marriage because he was from New York, where the views are different from most of the country, citing Iowa as an example. So, what did Trump say? In essence, that New York values were different.

Exactly

In retrospect, I’m not even sure at this point Trump even knows what a hypocrite is. Cruz maintained his personal belief and position on gay marriage all the way through.

If Trump wanted to attack him for being a hypocrite, a better, but still not really accurate, example, would be when he told the gay questioner that ending gay marriage was not on the top 3 of his list of priorities.

This is pretty much nothing. Two gay guys who may or may not have donated to Cruz hosted him at a non fundraiser to give him a chance to get his message out. They all happened to be pro Israel. Oh, and Cruz ALREADY had an openly gay supporter and donor before this.

So there are gay people who can disagree with Cruz on the SSM issue but understand that there are many other issues that they line up perfectly with him on.

There are actually gays who prioritize the country over themselves, and other issues over their bedroom.

And the like and donate to and support Cruz.

And he takes their money.

I’m not sure I can handle all this horrible new information. My world is shattered now.

Agreed! That much negative tweeting in one morning is approaching deranged!!!

What will President Trump do when the Left criticizes a new Trump policy proposal (e.g. tax reform)? Is he going to tweet out from the oval office that ‘Nancy Pelosi is an ugly dope, so sad, but I like her because she has large American breasts’? ‘Harry Reid may have brain damage from that supposed exercise accident...so sad...there are a lot of stories that he was beaten to a pulp by a sibling...don’t know if it was a brother or sister? But, I like Harry...he helped me out on some Nevada land deals back in the 90s.’

Folks, this is what we’ll get with President Trump! The only world he knows is the corrupt cesspool of NY business and politics. The Phineas T Trump carnival act is the current reality show rage, but it is a temporary novelty with a short shelf life!

What I like to hear from a presidential candidate is getting rid of federal regulatory agencies and getting back to State’s rights and the constitution.

I am happy to hear your embracement of NY values.
People living in glass houses shouldn’t be throwing stones.
Trump is now the GOPe. DT has no core principles so they prefer him to Teddy.

Well said! I think both Trump and Cruz embody the same anger and frustration with the political class and the status quo, which is unsustainable.

The difference between them is that Cruz will fight hard with a level of civility and decorum befitting a US President. I am glad to see Cruz taking off the gloves against Trump...Cruz needs to demonstrate to the electorate that he is willing to fight for the nomination, even against the rude and crude candidate slayer, the Donald!

So in other words, it will be the opposite of George W. (dont defend myself because I dont want to appear mean) Bush?

Works for me.

These people aren’t our friends, and I sure as hell dont care if their feelings are hurt because they aren’t going to be nice to Trump.

Nothing to do with personalities or staff.
It’s all about winning Iowa for both of them.
‘Winning’ Iowa nets about 1% of the delegates needed.
The publicity it gets a candidate usually isn’t worth spit!
