There’s something called “Fizzion Pet Stain and Odor Remover” that I order from Amazon that’s supposed to be for cleaning pet odors but we don’t use it for that. You put the pellet in water and let it dissolve. I pour it in the “fabric softener” receptacle in the washing machine. It really helps with old, funky odors.
Be sure to get “Pet Stain and Odor Remover” and NOT the one for cleaning hard surfaces — tile, etc.
they are both creepy.
I am all for Trump, but I find any political add with singing and dancing children creepy.
“He should, Beck lied last night on Bill OâReilly and said Trump voted for Obama, which he did not! I looked it up a few weeks ago, Trump endorsed McCain and Love(s) Sara Palin. Trump is right to get in front of that comment ASAP!”
Trump tweeted a that - said he voted for McCain.
Becomes joining the rest of the Trump haters - by lying. They can’t come up with enough on him honestly.
@realDonaldTrump is coming to @IowaStateU on Tues. He’ll be making a major announcement & bringing a special guest.
I think Beck’s time in the limelight is limited.
Thank you for that info!!
I couldn’t tell. Ugh. It’s murder. My sympathies.
I use OdoBan (Home Depot, Ace Hardware) instead of fabric softner. It’s in a jug. A dry cleaner/laundry guy told me about it.
Hmmm saw that yesterday.
Some fun ideas of whom and what.
EVerything from Malania. To her expecting.
the first I would believe. The second.NAW. !
Good work! May you win the State Committee thing. I’m sure there is no one better.
I don’t know why some laundry does that, but I know what you mean. Try the Arm & Hammer (it comes in smaller jugs). I was surprised that some of the yardwork clothes actually were ‘’healed’’.
There’s Borax, too. But I’ve been underwhelmed by it as a brightener. And there’s that OxyClean stuff, too. (Do they still make that?)
I mean State Convention Delegate.
Try washing soda. Put it in the wash cycle with detergent. Its about $4 a box at walmart or kroger. Hot water, extra rinse cycle.
Oh, I hate those teasers who promise "big news." A lot of websites do the same thing as clickbate for their articles. Even "news" sites do this.
To be honest, I was only vaguely aware that Beck was still alive. He's a kind of non-entity, isn't he?
The nice thing is that we are getting some Gen Xers running and they are doing better than I would have expected.
I am thinking that we are coming to an 80 year change and the results will be interesting.
Glenn Beck for whatever his failings was a good guy when I started listening to him.
Alcoholism is not a deal breaker with me. Trust is.
Glenn was making a big impact on me at one time. Now he's a GOPe shill and liar.
If Glenn Beck was drunk on the air but continued to deliver hard hitting truth, I'd applaud him.
...but he's a liar now and that is unforgivable.
Yup. But the ground up eggshells are better for your garden compost.
Suggestion: put up a large, pro gun sign in the yard as well. Seems to encourage more genteel behavior. One of those eternal mysteries of life. Like why you always seem to get better service when you open carry, or why hot dog buns come in 8s.
This is it right here. My own:
Get a container of plain I think they’re 32 oz, but I’ve seen some that are 38 oz, yogurt preferably one that is NOT low fat or no fat. It needs to be thick where it holds up a table spoon if you stick it in the middle. The Greek Yogurts should be thick enough.
If you can’t find thick Greek yogurt then get Dannon and filter it with a large coffee filter or a French chinois over night. My favorite NOn Greek is the plain one at Meijer’s, it’s thick and tangy, but you’ll probably have to drain that a few hours too.
Shred one good sized English cucumber and squeeze out the water. Add this to the yogurt. (you can use a regular cucumber if you want).
Add at least six crushed cloves of garlic to start with. If you don’t have fresh use the minced in a jar about 2 tablespoons. I’ll come back to this in a minute.
Add about 1/4 cup of dry dill. You can use fresh also, but I like dry. YOu might want to add a little at a time. DON’t panic when you throw it in. When you stir it should pretty much vanish. Add more if you want.
Add salt and pepper.
ADd about 1 tablespoon of the best extra virgin olive oil you can find.
Lastly the juice of 1/2 large lemon.
Mix this up slowly with a spoon by hand NOT in a blender. Now take a taste with your clean finger. Add more garlic and dill if you need too. It should be tangy, and with a little kick. This really depends on what kind of garlic person you are. I’ve found that you want to add enough to taste the garlic. If you have added too much you can add more yogurt.
At this point, I cover it and return to the frig or you can serve it right away, but it’s great if it sits up a bit, like over night.
NOw get some really fresh Italian or French bread and pull off a hunk by hand and spoon or knife up a bit of the tzatziki on it, and try it out.
If it’s been in the frig over night, I like to perk it up with a little lemon juice. ANd yes you can use the lemon that come in the little plastic lemon bottle.
To serve, do so just like my photo. Using the back of a spoon make a little depression in the middle of the yogurt and fill with olive oil and put a couple greek olives in there. I think I have a sprig of parsley on the plate. You can use basil.
If you don’t have dill you can use regular parsley or even mint, but dill works best.
If you’ve ever been to Greece, this is the thing people rave about the most. You can use this sauce on fried zucchini, meats or fish, even chicken in fact it’s pretty close to what they serve on the gyros w pita bread...It’s really your secret sauce.
IN Greek restaurants it’s frequently too watery and they don’t use the cucumber or lemon juice. This is the secret, the yogurt needs to be really thick, and you need to add enough dill too.
Keep covered in frig. It will last about 3 days. Perk it up each day with a little lemon juice and pepper. DOn’t over salt.
Trust me, each time you make it, it will taste better.
Trump Effect!
