Cruz should have said “The values of “..those Liberals in New York”. But he didn’t say that. I like Cruz and would support him enthusiastically but he served up a softball for Trump and Trump hit it out of the park. Admit it in move on.

Watching the replay, note Cruz looks down briefly to a note as he's giving the New York spiel ... which gives rise to this - why did Cruz buy into a lame talking point suggested at the last minute by his handlers?
