"13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" opens nationwide this weekend, and it's getting word of mouth publicity from unlikely sources: GOP presidential candidates.
"Tomorrow morning a new movie will debut about the incredible bravery of the men fighting for their lives in Benghazi and the politicians that abandoned them," GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz said during his closing remarks of the Fox Business GOP debate on Thursday night.
If that wasn't enough buzz, GOP frontrunner Donald Trump rented out an Iowa theater and provided tickets to a free screening of the film.

Were there any implications about Hillary and/or Obama acting irresponsibly?
Was it clear who gave the “stand down” order?
I saw this tonight. Some interesting things that my husband and I noticed...not one word about Hillary or Barack; no politics; and Barack’s picture wasn’t posted in the diplomatic complex. The story, (I would think you would have to be aware of what actually happened) is hard to follow except that there is a lot of shoot um up action. Our theater had the background music so loud that most of the time you couldn’t understand what was being said. Action types will love it. The real life fighters are real heroes.
The movie did not touch on the identity of the party ultimately responsible for the stand down order.
You only hear the chubby and bureaucratic CIA station chief admonishing Stand Down about six or so times, grimacing, hissing or yelling.
Where HE got that order is not treated by the movie.
I haven’t seen it but I think anyone who does go would be well aware of who is responsible.I.E., they won’t be hillary or Hussein fans to begin with.
I saw it tonight also , after work , after an 8 hr shift
I left the movie furious ....just furious
and the persons responsible are still denying all culpability
and have never been held accountable
This is sickening to an extreme
AMERICA ! WAKE THE F UP !
the CIA station chief
Petraeus needs to tell the God damned truth about that
The CIA station chief looks like a fool in this movie.
Yet at the end, when lines were going across telling what happened with each since the event, he got a medal. Absolutely pathetic.
Wish Republicans weren't such idiots so the Dems could have been brought to justice. That's heartbreaking among other things.
