There are many who don't pay much attention to the media driven synopsis of artists, be it correct or incorrect but rather enjoy the music on it's own merits.

Bowie himself stated later in life that he was a "closet heterosexual". LOL
Sometimes it just about the music & he played a big role in that industry.
Good evening to you as well. I grew up in the 60’s (early born in the 50’s) and even then I had my limits.Made it half way to Woodstock but Bowie’s music played little role in my life.
