It is essentially correct. Goldman has a boatload of vps. She is one. She got special treatment. Cruz is a beneficiary.
Goldman doesn’t care which party the give to, as long as the can buy influence. It buys them all and benefits from influence. Cruz is on the hook.
So being the VP of Goldman Sachs is “essentially” the same thing as being a VP of one of Goldman Sachs divisions.
Right...
And because Cruz got a loan against his own stocks, the same loan open to anyone who holds stocks, he got special treatment and has now been bought be Goldman Sachs.
