“No, because the rest of the country knows exactly what Cruz meant about “New York value””
Uh, not the rest of the country. And not “exactly”, either. A FEW people here at FR have an idea, and a FEW other conservatives that pay attention have an idea, but the average person really has no idea what “New York Values” are, and certainly not “exactly”.
You could walk down almost any street in the USA and ask this question, and everyone would give a different answer. For example, my wife, who worked in NY half her life in Manhattan, said it was about promiscuous sex, but that’s not at all what Cruz said in the debate, and this from a person who lived and worked there!
What it REALLY was, was a nebulous, ad hominem attack against Trump that was couched as a slur on the entire population of an entire state. It has blown up in Cruz’s face ENORMOUSLY, and in effect, between that and his patently absurd NBC response claiming Trump wasn’t NBC, Cruz has knocked himself out of the race, as the polls will show in the next couple of weeks.
Whether you agree or not, or whether you like it or not, that’s actually the reality of the situation.
“Whether you agree or not, or whether you like it or not, thatâs actually the reality of the situation.”
We all have our opinions. ;-)
We shall see.
I agree.
Cruz is going to be in the race until the end. I knew exactly what he meant about NYorkers because I remembered the interview between Tim and Donald. (I guess I must be old-lol). During this last debate, Donald made himself look like the blowhard that he is. He should have known better than try to spar off with Cruz.
