I read somewhere on internet that Obama/Kerry called Iran advising them that a disabled boat was out there asking them to assist. Then another internet story (different source) that Kerry himself contacted Iran saying their helping rescue the boats would look good or both countries.

I read that yesterday. The source was said to be Congressman Louie Gohmert R Texas. I haven't heard any more about it.

Don't know if they are trustworthy or not. Maybe not since I didn't see it anywhere else.
