That line about Kelo has always puzzled me.

If Trump loses sleep over wanting to promote Eminent Domain, it will all be in vain.
However, a vote is different. Ted Cruz voted for the Corker bill. He condemned his vote last night. He is always condemning his vote. No one, No One, will ever call him out on it. I predict that one day, someone will, and he can’t clear himself at all.
Do you think the Atlantic City government decided, on their own, to try to condemn Vera Coking's house and give it to Trump? Of course not. Trump was a major developer, and the attempt to take Ms. Coking's house through eminent domain was done at his behest.
If Kelo wad been in affect at the time Trump sued to take her land he would have gotten it. She had to defend herself from Trump in court and all the burdens that came from that just to retain her property. Now that limit has been breached by Kelo.
