Where is it allowed to have ‘eminent domain’ in the US Constitution? Do you know?
In the 5th Amendment:
"...nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."
The fifth amemdement takings clause.

it is not in the constitution but in English common law. All land was originally owned by the King (government) due to birthright or conquest. The Revolutionary war conquered the land from the British. and we conquered or purchased conquered land for the rest.
