I was ready to back Cruz. I’ve liked the guy for years, and I was worried that maybe Trump was just taking positions to win. After last night I’m all in for Trump. He’s proved he can handle the crowd, the press, and other politicians with ease, and he’s as consistent as any politician in recent memory if not more so. He’s also skilled enough to be blunt, provocative, and abrasive without being insulting. Cruz really needs to learn that last one.
Very well articulated point.
I didn't see the debate last night, so I'm interested in poignant thoughts and insights.
I've been around FR for a while. I've seen the attacks on Palin. The attacks on Rudy. I'm used to that.
I'm REALLY, REALLY TIRED of the back and forth sniping between the Cruz and Trump supporters.
Both of these guys are anti GOPe guys and we are firebombing ourselves.
I've actually gone to home pages of unfamiliar handles, just to see when they signed up, to see if there might be plants.
Like you, I've been a Cruz admirer, but also a Trump admirer. I actually was online last week looking for Trumps schedule, to see if he had a rally somewhere relatively in my neck of the woods. Cedar Falls, Ia is 4 hours away. If I didn't have things that had to be done that day, I was tempted to go.
I've never gone to a political rally. But Trump piques my interest.
I unsubscribed from the Cruz email blast - could not take the twice daily needling and click bait subject lines. Enough.
